A manor in Shimashimo-gun, Settsu Province (present-day southern Suita City). Prince Motosada, son of Emperor Junna, awarded over 63 cho of land near Suita and donated it to Seijuji Temple, a branch temple of Daigoji Temple, in 865 (Jogan 7), and the Suita East and West Manors of Seijuji Temple were established. Rice, chimaki, mochi, straw, miscellaneous sweets, and seawater transportation were collected from the manor's inhabitants. However, it declined during the Kamakura period, and was replaced by the Saionji family land and the Kofukuji land. Katsuo-ji Temple also obtained a permanent name and a tadokoro position, but was absorbed into the Kofukuji land in 1266 (Bun'ei 3). The Saionji family owned Suita West Manor during Kintsune's reign and established Suita Dono as a place of leisure, but it is unclear what became of it after the Nanboku-cho period.
