A magazine published for female readers. Many can be categorized according to the age or life stage of the reader, such as for schoolgirls, unmarried women, or housewives, but recently, magazines aimed at different lifestyles, such as working women or independent-minded women, have also appeared. However, they all have in common that they do not directly address issues that have traditionally been considered "men's worlds," such as politics, economics, science, and professional life, but rather focus on areas that have traditionally been considered "women's worlds," such as beauty, fashion, romance, marriage, and family life.
