Prime Minister - Josho
[1] (The old word was "shojo". Both "sho" and "sho" mean to help.) ① In ancient China, the highest official who assisted the emperor in managing national affairs. A minister. A prime minister. ※Jingguoshu (827) 20, "The Han emperor rose to power and spoke in detail about the Prime Minister." ※Shiji Sho (1477) 8, "In Japan, the Shogun also served as Prime Minister." [Shiji - Qin Benji] ② The Tang name for a minister. ※Suga Family Book (around 900) 2. Kasuga Past Chancellor Family: "The Chancellor Family of the Ming Dynasty, with no people, no horses , and no carriages ." ※Taike Family Book (before the 13th century) 1. "He rose to the ranks of Middle and Grand Counselor, and even to the rank of Chief Minister .
