〘Noun〙 The moon that occurs around the seventh day in the lunar calendar. Also, the time around that time. After the new moon, the moon that appears in a right semicircle with the western half shining. Halfway between the new moon and the next full moon. Upper bow. Upper bow. ⇔ Waning quarter.
