Japanese: 粛親王 - しゅくしんおう

A member of the imperial family at the end of the Qing dynasty. Among the many princes of the same name, Zenki is generally known as Shanqi. He inherited the title upon his father's death in 1898. After the Boxer Rebellion, he served as Minister of Civil Affairs (1907), Minister of Civil Affairs in the imperial cabinet of Prince Qing Yi (1911), and then Minister of the Liberal Democratic Party. He joined the Soshato Party and opposed the 1911 Xinhai Revolution. Following the schemes of Kawashima Naniwa, a continental ronin who had allied with the Japanese military, he attempted to launch the Manchuria-Mongolia independence movement in 1912 and 1916, but failed. Kawashima Yoshiko (1907-1948), known as the Mata Hari of the Orient, was Shanqi's daughter, and was adopted by Kawashima Naniwa after the fall of the Qing dynasty.

中国清朝末期の皇族。同名の諸親王のうち一般には善耆(ぜんき)をさす。1898年父の死で爵位を継承。義和団事件後，民政部尚書（1907年），慶親王奕【きょう】(えききょう)の皇族内閣の民政部大臣（1911年），ついで理藩院大臣を歴任。1911年の辛亥革命に対しては宗社党に加わって反対。日本軍部と結んだ大陸浪人川島浪速らの策謀に乗って1912年と1916年に満蒙独立運動を画策したが失敗。なお，東洋のマタ・ハリと呼ばれた川島芳子［1907−1948］は善耆の娘で，清朝が倒れたあと川島浪速の養女となった。
