Revenue officer - shuunyuyaku
A public servant in charge of accounting affairs for municipalities. This special position is appointed by the mayor of a city, town or village with the consent of the assembly, and the term of office is four years. It is placed in prefectures. Treasurer Water supply This was abolished in the 2007 revision of the Local Autonomy Act, and general-level accounting managers were appointed.

市町村などの会計事務をつかさどる公務員。市町村長が議会の同意を得て選任した特別職で、任期は4年。都道府県に置かれる出納長すいとうちょうに相当する。平成19年（2007）地方自治法の改正で廃止。一般職の会計管理者が置かれるようになった。
