Kiseichu Line - Kiseichusen

...The section between Kameyama and Tsu was purchased from the Kansai Railway, and the section between Tsu and Ujiyamada (now Ise City) was purchased from the Sangu Railway in 1907. The section between Shingu and Kii-Katsuura was purchased from the Shingu Railway in 1901, and was called the Kii-Senchu ​​Line. It was an important line for industry, transporting timber from Kumano and Okuyoshino, fresh fish from Katsuura and Taiji, and mandarin oranges within Wakayama Prefecture, but in recent years it has become more of a tourist route that travels around the two national parks of Ise-Shima and Yoshino-Kumano.
