?-1422 A radical priest during the Hussite Revolution in Bohemia. He was a leader in the incident on July 30, 1419, when several thousand Prague citizens stormed the city hall and threw council members and clergy out of the windows. As a preacher for the poor, he sought solidarity with the radical Taborites, and in June 1421, with the support of one of the Taborites' leaders, Hvežda z Vícemilic (?-1425), he established a kind of dictatorial government in Prague. In March of the following year, he was secretly executed by the Utraquists, who wanted to compromise with the Catholic Church.
