A former town in Jinseki County, eastern Hiroshima Prefecture. Most of the town is made up of the mountainous area of ​​the Kibi Plateau. In November 2004, the town merged with Yuki Town, Jinseki Town, and Toyomatsu Village in Jinseki County to become Jinsekikogen Town. Area 127.46 km2 . Population 4,622 (2003).
