One of the Thirteen Classics of China. An interpretation of the Spring and Autumn Annals, which describes the history of Lu. Thirty volumes. There are three theories about the author: Zuo Qiu Ming, Zuo Shi, a historian of Wei, or a forgery by Liu Xin . It was edited and circulated by Liu Xin during the Han dynasty. One theory is that it is an independent historical work unrelated to the Spring and Autumn Annals. It provides commentary on the descriptions in the Spring and Autumn Annals with historical facts and anecdotes. Famous ancient commentaries include the Spring and Autumn Annals: Zuo Shi Jing Zhuan Ji Jie by Du Yu of the Jin dynasty and the Spring and Autumn Annals: Zuo Zhuan Zhengyi by Kong Yingda of the Tang dynasty . 中国の十三経の一つ。魯の歴史を書いた「春秋」の解釈書。三〇巻。著者は左丘明、魏の史官左氏、劉歆(りゅうきん)の偽作という三説がある。漢代に劉歆によって校訂流布された。一説に「春秋」とは無関係で独立の史書ともいう。「春秋」の記述に合わせて史実や史話で解説。古注として晉の杜預(どよ)の「春秋左氏経伝集解(しっかい)」と唐の孔穎達(くえいだつ)の「春秋左伝正義」が有名。公羊(くよう)伝、穀梁伝とともに「春秋三伝」といわれる。春秋左氏伝。左氏春秋。左伝。
