For two or more positive integers, an integer (multiple) that is divisible by all of them is called the common multiple of the first integers, and the smallest non-zero common multiple is called the least common multiple. LCM is an abbreviation of Least Common Multiple. All common multiples are multiples of the least common multiple. To find the least common multiple, use the idea of prime factorization as follows.
