A breed of dog. Height at the shoulder is 56-61 cm. There are two varieties: the long-haired Rough Collie and the short-haired Smooth Collie. They are black, white, tricolor, or blue merle (blue-gray with black spots), and have a long tail. They are native to Scotland. They are very intelligent and have long been used as sheepdogs, and today the Rough Collie is used as a companion dog and show dog.

イヌの一品種。肩高56〜61cm。長毛のラフ・コリーと，短毛のスムース・コリーの２品種がある。黒，白，トライカラー，ブルー・マール（青灰色に黒斑），尾は長い。スコットランド原産。きわめて利口で，牧羊犬として古くから用いられ，今日ではラフ・コリーがコンパニオン犬，ショー・ドッグなどにされる。
