A Shingon Buddhist temple in Itami, Hyogo Prefecture. The mountain name is Konronzan. Its name comes from a training hall that was built in 731 (Tenpyo 3) by Gyoki to manage the ponds, ditches, and almshouses that he developed in Konyo and Yamamoto villages in Kawabe County, Settsu Province. In 741, Gyoki opened up the wilderness of Inano and donated 150 cho of Keidokuden land to the temple, helping poor farmers with no relatives. During the Heian period, the provincial governor was involved in the management of the temple and the Keidokuden land. It was burned down during war at the end of the 16th century, and the various buildings were gradually rebuilt afterwards.
