A collection of laws from the mid-modern period. Also known by titles such as Reijo-ki and Reijo, it consists of 37 volumes. It contains about 600 laws, mainly from the Edo Shogunate, spanning a 100-year period from September 1597 (Keicho 2) to October 1696 (Genroku 9), with some laws from before the Keicho period also included. There is a preface written by Fujiwara Chikanaga in 1711 (Shotoku 1), which suggests that he was the compiler, but it is unclear who he was. It is thought that it was compiled in 1711, but it is more likely that it was compiled between 1696 and 1700. Included in the Collection of Historical Materials on Early Modern Legal Systems.
