Hushu Culture (English: Hushu Culture)

Japanese: 湖熟文化 - こじゅくぶんか（英語表記）Hú shú wén huà

A Bronze Age culture influenced by the Yin and Zhou culture of the Central Plains, with the Hushu Town site in Jiangning County, Jiangsu Province, China as its standard. This culture is distributed in the Ningzhen Mountains and the Qinhuai River region, centered on the Nanjing area in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River (Changjiang). The first investigation was carried out at the Hushu Town site in 1951, and nearly 200 sites have been discovered so far. Typical sites that have been excavated include the Beiyinyangying site in Nanjing, the Taigang Temple site, the Toushan site in Gurongcheng, and the Dianjiangtai site in Jiangning County, and all of them have confirmed the relationship between early and late strata.

中国，江蘇省江寧県湖熟鎮遺跡を標準とする中原の殷周文化の影響を受けた青銅器文化。この文化は，長江(揚子江)下流域の南京地区を中心として，寧鎮山脈および秦淮河地域に分布している。1951年に湖熟鎮遺跡で調査されたのが最初であるが，これまでに発見された遺跡は200ヵ所近くに及び，発掘を経た典型的な遺跡には，南京市北陰陽営遺跡，太岡寺遺跡，句（こう）容城頭山遺跡，江寧県点将台遺跡などがあり，すべて，早期，晩期の地層関係を確認することができる。
