Ayuhi Sho - Ayuhi Sho

Japanese: あゆひ抄 - あゆいしょう

A grammar book. 5 volumes, 6 books. Written by Fujitani Seisho. Manuscript completed in 1773 (An'ei 2), published in 1778 (printed version includes an annotated version by Matsuo Sutejiro and a version in the Kokugogaku Taikei series). Seisho classified all words into 4 types: nouns (nouns), yosoi (verbs), kazashi (adverbs, prefixes), and ayui (particles, auxiliary verbs, suffixes). In contrast to the "Shotosho" (1767) and "Sosho" (not understood), this book divides the ayui into 5 types and 50 categories, and provides notes on each word, including connections, meanings, usage, historical changes, and proof.

文法書。5巻6冊。富士谷成章著。1773年(安永2)成稿，78年刊(活版本として松尾捨治郎の校注本，国語学大系本がある)。成章は，いっさいの単語を名(体言)，装（よそい）(用言)，挿頭（かざし）(副詞･接頭語の類)，脚結（あゆい）(助詞･助動詞･接尾語の類)の4種に分類したが，本書は，《挿頭抄》(1767)，《装抄》(伝わらない)に対して，脚結を5種50類にわけ，その一々の語について，接続，意味用法，時代的変化，証歌を注したもの。
