The One Hundred Records of the State of Qing Dynasty (English: Guó qīng bǎi lù)

Japanese: 国清百録 - こくせいひゃくろく（英語表記）Guó qīng bǎi lù

A collection of documents related to the early Tendai sect in China, centered around Zhiyi, the founder of the Tendai sect. 4 volumes. Edited by Zhizaku of the Sui dynasty and completed by Kanjo. It is thought to have been written around 605 (Daye 1), when Emperor Yang bestowed the Guoqing Temple plaque on Mount Tiantai. It is named "Guoqing Hyakuroku" (One Hundred Records of the Guoqing Dynasty) as it contains 104 documents from the Later Liang and Chen dynasties to the beginning of the Sui dynasty. It is an extremely valuable collection of materials for the Six Dynasties and Sui dynasties, when documents are scarce, and Daoxuan's "Continued Biography of the Great Monks" often uses it. 中国，天台宗の開祖智顗（ちぎ）を中心とする初期天台教団関係文書集。4巻。隋の智寂が編集，灌頂が完成させた。天台山に煬帝（ようだい）から国清寺の寺額が下賜された605年(大業1)ころのことと考えられる。後梁，陳から隋初に及ぶ104条の文書を収めるので《国清百録》と名づけられた。文書に乏しい六朝･隋にあって，きわめて貴重な資料集であり，道宣の《続高僧伝》もしばしばこれを用いている。【勝村哲也】
