High-rise cross-section - High-rise cross-section
A map showing meteorological data from the ground to the sky along a specific meridian or latitude line, with necessary contour lines drawn on one sheet of paper. When used in conjunction with an upper air weather chart, which is made for a roughly horizontal surface, it is possible to obtain a more complete understanding of the three-dimensional structure of the atmosphere. It is useful for understanding the jet stream and fronts.
