The title of a Nagauta song. It is commonly known as "Hanami Odori" or "Genroku-style Hanami Odori." It was first performed in June 1878 (Meiji 11). The lyrics were written by Takeshiba Hyosuke, and the music was composed by Kineya Shojiro III. It was performed as a sideshow at the opening ceremony when Shintomiza Theater was newly built. It is one of the most popular Nagauta pieces. The theme is a cherry blossom viewing party in Ueno during the Genroku period (1688-1704), and it depicts a gorgeous and luxurious world like a picture scroll, with samurai, slaves, young men, prostitutes, townspeople, and others gathering and dancing in various customs. The entire song was composed in niagari style, and the vocals have many high notes, making it a song full of splendor. The shamisen melody of ``Ton-chichin'' and ``Iya-cha-cha-cha-cha-chan'' in the ``Bring it with me'' part has become familiar to the ear.
