Japanese: 原腸 - げんちょう(英語表記)archenteron
Archenteron
The cavity surrounded by the inner layer of the gastrula (gastrula) and its inner wall. During embryonic development, this cavity is formed by gastrulation and is surrounded by the endoderm layer. It is the primordial organ of the digestive tract, and later gives rise to the intestine and associated organs such as the liver and pancreas. In some animals (vertebrates), in addition to the endoderm, the mesoderm forms, and in addition to the intestine, the notochord, somites, etc. are produced.
