Japanese: 安満遺跡 - あまいせき

The remains of a Yayoi period settlement are found in the area of Hacchonawate-cho and Takagaki-cho in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture. When the Settsu Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Kyoto University was established in the early Showa period, many Yayoi-style pottery and stone tools were discovered. After 1967, excavations by Takatsuki City and the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education revealed that it was a large-scale ruin stretching 1,200m east to west and over 300m north to south. The early settlement was established in the area centered on the current farm office, and two ditches with a diameter of about 120m have been discovered surrounding the settlement, which clearly shows the form of the first settlement introduced to this area that was primarily based on rice farming.

大阪府高槻市八丁畷町および高垣町一帯に存在する弥生時代の集落跡。昭和初年京都大学農学部摂津農場がつくられた際，多くの弥生式土器や石器が発見された。1967年以後，高槻市および大阪府教育委員会による発掘調査によって，東西1200m，南北300m以上にわたる大規模な遺跡であることが明らかとなった。前期の集落は，現在の農場事務所を中心とする地域に営まれたもので，集落をめぐる直径約120mの溝が2条検出されていて，この地域に最初に伝わった稲作農耕を主とする集落のあり方をよく示している。
