A mystic from Armenia. As the founder of the practice system known as the Work, which aims to attain spiritual freedom, he was, together with R. Steiner, a key figure in the 20th century mystical movement. He had many disciples, including PD Ouspensky, JG Bennett, FL Wright, DH Lawrence, and P. Brook.
