Also known as the storehouse market price or garden market price. This mainly refers to the price at which rice was paid at the Asakusa storehouse, and was the market price set by the Edo Shogunate when selling stored rice. It was quoted in gold prices based on 100 bales (35 koku), and bids at the storehouse garden were widely solicited from rice wholesalers and brokers throughout Edo, but the prices tended to be lower than the general market price as they were monopolized by the fudasashi (bill-brokers) in front of the storehouse. 御蔵(おくら)相場・庭相場ともよばれる。おもに浅草御蔵の払い米値段をいうもので,江戸幕府が蔵米(くらまい)を売却する際に立てられた相場。100俵(35石(こく))を基準に金価格で示され,御蔵庭での入札には江戸市中の米問屋(どいや)や仲買に広くよびかけるが,蔵前の札差(ふださし)仲間らに独占されて一般の相場より安値になる傾向があった。旗本・御家人(ごけにん)の蔵米取の米を貨幣に替えるためにも用いられた。
