Kurama Stone
〘Noun〙① A type of diorite found near Kurama in Kyoto. Used for garden stones. Kurama. ※Kabuki: Mount Kurama (1856) "The mountain is made of Kurama stone, and there are many difficult spots to climb." ② A flint sold at the Kurama Fugooroshi festival. ※Zappai: Yuki no Ume (1728) "A blinding stone that scares thieves away."
