A grayish-white, completely crystalline dyke-like rock. It is composed of alkali feldspar, quartz, and plagioclase, with small amounts of biotite, muscovite, garnet, and tourmaline. Its chemical composition is similar to granite. It is used as a raw material for ceramics.
