Japanese: 熊ノ湯[温泉] - くまのゆ

A hot spring in the Shiga Plateau, Yamanouchi Town, Shimotakai District, Nagano Prefecture. It is located at an altitude of 1,600m on the northern foot of Mt. Kasagatake and Mt. Yokote. Hydrogen sulfide spring. 45-70℃. It was discovered as a hot spring resort during the Kaei era (1848-1854), but has developed since the ski resort was built. In addition to Yudanaka Onsen, buses can be taken from Naganohara Town, Gunma Prefecture via the Shiga-Kusatsu Plateau route.

長野県下高井郡山ノ内町，志賀高原中の温泉。笠ヶ岳と横手山の北麓，標高1600mの地にある。硫化水素泉。45〜70℃。嘉永年間（1848年―1854年）発見の湯治場であったが，スキー場ができて以来発展。湯田中温泉からのほか志賀草津高原ルート経由で群馬県長野原町からもバスが通じる。
