Kugoin - Gugoin
〘Noun〙 In the Middle Ages, this office belonged to the Oi-ryo (office of the Imperial Household Ministry) of the Imperial Household Ministry and handled rice collected from the land in the Kinai region. It was used as an offering and as property for the Empress Dowager and the Crown Prince. [Nishinomiya-ki (around 969)]
