Japanese National Socialist Party

Japanese: 日本国家社会党 - にほんこっかしゃかいとう
Japanese National Socialist Party
A national socialist party formed during the Manchurian Incident. In 1932, Akamatsu Katsumaro, Koike Shiro and others who had left the Social Democratic Party, and Imamura Hitoshi and others who had left the National Labor-Farmer Masses Party, planned to merge with Shimonaka Yasaburo and others in the Preparatory Committee for the Japanese National Socialist Party, but the plan fell apart on the day of the founding ceremony on May 29th, and the Japanese National Socialist Party was formed without the Shimonaka faction (the Shimonaka faction formed the New Japan National Alliance). Akamatsu was the party secretary-general. There were 10 members of the central standing executive committee, including Yamana Yoshitsuru, Koike, and Hirano Rikizo. Supporting organizations included the Japan Labor League, the Postal Friendship Association, the Japanese Farmers' Union (Nihon Noh), and the Japan Federation of Small and Medium Commerce and Industry.
