Yu Qià qing (English spelling)

Japanese: 虞洽卿 - ぐこうけい（英語表記）Yú Qià qīng

Chinese businessman. His real name was Kazunori. He was born in Zhenhai, Zhejiang Province. He first worked in business in Shanghai, and in 1903 became a purchasing agent for the Dutch Bank. He later established and managed the Siming Bank, the Ningshao Steamship Company, and the Sanbei Steamship Company. He was one of the leading figures in the Zhejiang financial conglomerate. In 1925 he became chairman of the Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce, and in 1927 he provided financial support to Chiang Kai-shek, representing the interests of Shanghai's ethnic capitalists during the warlord era. 中国の実業家。本名和徳。浙江省鎮海県の出身。最初，上海で商業に従事し，1903年和蘭（オランダ）銀行の買弁となったが，のち四明銀行，寧紹輪船公司，三北輪埠公司を設立し，経営した。浙江財閥の代表者の一人である。25年には上海総商会会長となり，27年には蔣介石を財政面で支援するなど，民国時代の軍閥割拠時期に上海の民族資本家の利害を代表して活動した。【川井悟】
