1867‐1945 Chinese businessman. His real name was Kazunori. He was born in Zhenhai, Zhejiang Province. He first worked in business in Shanghai, and in 1903 became a purchasing agent for the Dutch Bank. He later established and managed the Siming Bank, the Ningshao Steamship Company, and the Sanbei Steamship Company. He was one of the leading figures in the Zhejiang financial conglomerate. In 1925 he became chairman of the Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce, and in 1927 he provided financial support to Chiang Kai-shek, representing the interests of Shanghai's ethnic capitalists during the warlord era.
