A circular tomb from the late 5th century located in Nishikyozuka, Shimomasuda, Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture. It is one of a group of small ancient tombs scattered in the sand dune area 2km from the Pacific coast, near the northern end of Sendai Airport, and originally had a mound with a diameter of about 30m. It contains one house-shaped haniwa and two short armor-shaped haniwa, which were collected around 1907. It is at the northern limit of the distribution of figurative haniwa, and its unique style has attracted the attention of academics. In 1948, a long-box-shaped stone coffin buried in the mound was unearthed during soil collection work, and two iron swords with deer antler fittings, a deer antler knife handle, and a comb were found inside the coffin.
