Kisobushi

Japanese: 木曾節 - きそぶし
Kisobushi
A representative folk song of Nagano Prefecture. It is a Bon Odori song from the Kiso Valley, and in 1915, Kiso Fukushima Town (now Kiso Town) incorporated the Nakatsu Jinku dance into the Nakanorisan song to create a Bon Odori dance in order to attract tourists. In the past, the songs generally sung in the Kiso Valley were called Kiso-bushi, and around the Meiji period, the current Mitakeyama-bushi was called Kiso-bushi.
