Night jasmine. A climbing shrub of the Asclepiadaceae family. Native to the Indochina Peninsula and India, it is known as a fragrant plant. The leaves are long-hearted, and the flowers bloom from August to October, scattering in a pale yellow-green color with a diameter of 1 to 2 cm. In China, it is cultivated for its aromatic oil and for its flowers used in cooking. It can also refer to tuberose (tuberose) and night jasmine (nosed flower) of the Solanaceae family. 夜来香。ガガイモ科のつる性低木。インドシナ半島〜インドの原産で,芳香をもつ植物として知られる。葉は長心形,花は8〜10月,散形状について淡黄緑色,径1〜2cm。中国では香油をとったり,花を料理に用いるため栽培もされる。なお,チューベローズ(月下香)やナス科のヤコウカ(夜香花)を指すこともある。
