Everyday social relationships that are formed as a result of living in close proximity. Synonymous with neighborhood relationships. Neighborhood relationships in rural areas are close and their geographical boundaries are relatively clear. In cities, neighborhood relationships are weaker due to the intensity of social mobility, the development of secondary groups, and the social heterogeneity of local residents, but in some areas, uncertain and linked relationships are characteristic, and research is often conducted to capture the frequency and content of neighborhood interactions.
