〘 noun 〙 An artificial hand that is attached to replace an amputated hand. It is made of wood, rubber, metal, leather, plastic, etc. ※Hochi Shimbun - February 6, 1905 (Meiji 38) "After waiting for the wound to heal, I received a gift of a prosthetic hand from Her Majesty the Empress."
