Kinki mame cherry - Kinki mame cherry

A deciduous tree of the Rosaceae family (APG classification: Rosaceae). A variety of Mamezakura found in the Chubu region and west of Honshu, Kinki, and Chugoku regions. It grows to a height of 3-5 meters. The leaves are obovate or broadly obovate, 4-8 cm long, and larger than Mamezakura. The flowers are white or pale pink, and the calyx tube is slender and 8-9 mm long.

バラ科（APG分類：バラ科）の落葉小高木。本州の中部地方以西、近畿、中国地方に分布するマメザクラの変種。高さ3～5メートル。葉は倒卵形ないし広倒卵形、長さ4～8センチメートルでマメザクラより大きい。花は白色か淡紅色で萼筒(がくとう)は細長く8～9ミリメートル。
