A channel between the Oshika Peninsula and Kinkazan in eastern Miyagi Prefecture. It is also called "Yamadori no Watashi." It is 800m wide at its narrowest point. Both sides are cliffs, and bedrock is exposed in the sea. The deepest part is about 20m deep on average, and ships can run aground during heavy fog.
