A local wind that blows near Kiyokawa in the Shonai region of Yamagata Prefecture. The wind that passes through the Ou Mountains converges in the Dewa Mountains, becoming a strong wind in the Shonai Plain. It is common in summer and often has a negative impact on rice growth.
