...In the mid-Heian period, for example, the ceremonial days were three days long, starting on the 9th of the first month, as in the Kitayamasho and Ononomiya Nenchugyoji, but the later Kenmu Nenchugyoji started on the 11th of the first month. On the other hand, the Tsukasashojome was centered on the appointment of the Naikan (Chief Officials) and was also called Kyokanjome. In the mid-Heian period, it was held over two days in early February, but gradually, from the Insei period onwards, it was held in autumn, and so it came to be called Akijome....
