(3) Reinforced Liquid Fire Extinguisher: A water solution of alkali metal salts is stored in a container under pressure using compressed air, etc. When in use, the lever is pressed and the water solution is released under pressure, extinguishing the fire by cooling, blocking air, and retarding the burning rate (negative catalytic action). Suitable for ordinary fires, but can also be used for oil fires and electrical fires if made into a water spray type.
