…Prime Minister of the Tang Dynasty in China. Representative of the Niu Li Political Strife. His pen name was Si Yin. His other name was Qi Zhang Gong. He was from Anding (Jingchuan County, Gansu Province). He passed the Jinshi examination, but when the election was held, he denounced the government and was hated by the Prime Minister Li Jifu (758-814). He became Prime Minister during the reigns of Muzong and Jingzong, and formed a coalition with Li Zongmin (?-843) and others, and fought fiercely with the group of Li Jifu's son Li Deyu over policies toward the Tubo.
