An order is issued by the Labor Relations Commission to remedy unfair labor practices after finding the facts of the unfair labor practices based on a petition for relief. The contents of such orders include orders to reinstate employees, orders to pay retroactive wages (so-called back pay), orders to engage in collective bargaining, orders to prohibit interference with management, and orders to post an apology (so-called post notice). It is considered significant to issue orders with the aim of restoring normal labor-management relations, rather than simply providing ex-post relief. Employers may file an administrative lawsuit against such orders in court, but if the Labor Relations Commission's order is upheld by a final judgment, violations of the order will be punished (Labor Union Law, Article 28).

労働委員会が不当労働行為の救済申立てに基づき，不当労働行為の事実を認定したうえで，それを救済するために発する命令。この命令の内容としては復職命令，賃金遡及払い (いわゆるバック・ペイ) の命令，団交に応ずべき命令，支配介入行為禁止命令，謝罪文の掲示 (いわゆるポスト・ノーティス) をすべき命令などがある。単なる事後的救済だけではなく，正常な労使関係の回復を目的として命令を発することに意義があるとされている。使用者はこの命令に対して裁判所に行政訴訟を提起しうるが，労働委員会の命令が確定判決により支持された場合に，それに違反すれば罰せられる (労働組合法 28) 。
