Japanese: 北向観音 - きたむきかんのん
North-facing Kannon

...During the Kamakura period, the area was under the direct control of the Hojo clan, and as such, many Kamakura cultural heritage sites remain in the area, including Anraku-ji Temple and Joraku-ji Temple, both of which have rare octagonal three-story pagodas. In addition, Kitamuki Kannon, located on a hill at the northern foot of Mount Atago, jutting out from the center of the hot spring town, is highly revered as a Kannon deity that wards off evil. The hot spring town has public baths such as Daiyu, Daishiyu, and Ishiyu, and is a quiet hot spring town.
