Born: 1757 [Died] 1823 (Bunsei 6). January. A shamisen player of Tokiwazu-bushi, head of the Kishizawa school. A disciple of the first Kishizawa Shikisa. Formerly named Ichiji. Succeeded in 1783. Changed his name to Koshikibu 3rd in 1895, Uwasa in 1815, and Koshikibu again in 1820. Composed works include "Kodakara Sanbaso" and "Sankatsu".
