Kinoshita Tea Boat - Kioroshi Chabune

...These include the 30-koku ships on the Yodo River, the Sakai and Sekiyado ships on the Tone River, and other boats. Pleasure boats also appeared, such as the "Kioroshi Tea Boat" on the lower Tone River, which was a chartered pleasure boat for tourists who toured the three shrines of Katori, Kashima, and Ikisu, and sometimes even went as far as the Choshi coast. This was popular among the people of Edo, and was crowded with many travelers during the Bunka and Bunsei periods (1804-1830).
