Campari

Japanese: カンパリ

A type of Italian liqueur. It was created in 1860 by Gaspare Campari in Milan, and was renamed Campari by his son David. It is a crimson-colored liquor with a bitter and sweet taste, made from a blend of bitter orange, caraway, coriander, and gentian root. It can be made into Campari Orange by adding a small amount of orange juice, or into Campari Soda by adding soda water.

イタリアのリキュールの一種。1860年にミラノのガスパーレ・カンパリが創製したもので，息子ダビデの代にカンパリと改名。ビター・オレンジ，キャラウェー，コリアンダー，リンドウの根などが配合され，苦味と甘味のある深紅色の酒。オレンジジュースを適量加えてカンパリ・オレンジにしたり，ソーダ水を加えてカンパリ・ソーダにしたりする。
