Kambara white clay

...The name comes from the fact that the pH value of the suspension is acidic (pH 5 to 6). It is thought to be produced by the weathering of bentonite on the surface, and Kambara white clay from Kambara County, Niigata Prefecture has long been famous. It can also be produced by treating bentonite with sulfuric acid.
