【China】
In China, apart from altars for ceremonies held by the state itself and Confucian shrines directly related to political doctrine, there are a variety of religious architectures, including Buddhist temples, Taoist temples, Islamic temples (mosques), and shrines of various folk beliefs. In addition, although the actual examples have been lost, there was a time in history when temples of Jingjiao (Christian Nestorianism), Manichaeism, and Zijiao (Zoroastrianism) were built.

…In China, a place where Taoist priests live, practice, and perform rituals. It is also called a temple, a palace, a temple, a hermitage, a palace, or a temple. Its origins are said to lie in the 24 temples established by the Five Pours of Rice Taoist (Tianshi Taoist) sect, which was established at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty.

From 【Tower】

…Takadono. In ancient China, originally, a tower was a building with two or more stories, and a pavilion was a high-rise building with a view in all four directions. However, when combined with a high platform for a view, a pavilion built on a platform, or a building for a view, the words tower, tower, tower, tower, tower, and tower view were used to refer to this type of high-rise building. Wooden tower buildings appeared at the latest in the Han dynasty, but the oldest surviving remains are the Kannon Pavilion at Dorakuji Temple (built in 984 during the Liao Dynasty in Jixian County, Tianjin City).
