…一方，神事や祭祀にかかわり合いながら，それらの手工業生産にも当たる性格も指摘されてきた。　もともと日置氏は宮内省主殿寮殿部（とのもり）の負名氏（なおいのうじ）の一つで，本拠は大和国葛上郡日置郷にあり，地縁的にも職掌的にも同じ負名氏の鴨氏と類縁の関係にあったと考えられている。葛城の鴨氏が阿治須岐託彦根（あじすきたかひこね）神をまつるのに対し，日置氏はこの神の妻という阿麻乃弥加都比女（あまのみかつひめ）をまつっていた(《尾張国風土記》)。…
