Camus, E.L. - Camyu

...also called gears. A type of mechanical part that transmits rotation or power between two shafts. The simplest way to achieve this type of motion is to attach a cylinder to each of the two shafts and rotate them by friction while pressing them against each other. However, in this case, if the transmitted power becomes large, the cylinders will begin to slip against each other, and the power transmission will not be effective. Therefore, if protrusions are attached at equal intervals on the periphery of both cylinders and each of them is made to mesh with each other, the purpose can be achieved without slippage.
