Xi-ru er-mu-zi (English: Xi-ru er-mu-zi)

A Chinese phonological book written by French Jesuit missionary Nicolas Trigaud (Chinese name Jinni Ge) in the late Ming Dynasty. Published in the 6th year of Tianqi (1626). In the 5th year of the same year, in Jiangxian, Shanxi Province, he improved on the phonetic system of Chinese characters using Roman letters created by Matteo Ricci with the assistance of Han Yun from the same area, and published it as the first Chinese rhyming book written in phonetic characters after being revised by Wang Zheng of Jingyang, Shaanxi Province. It provided a simpler method for phonological analysis for Chinese, which had only one method, "fanji," and is of great value in the history of Chinese phonological research.

中国，明末にフランスのイエズス会宣教師ニコラス・トリゴー (中国名，金尼閣) が書いた中国語の音韻書。天啓6 (1626) 年刊。同5年山西省絳 (こう) 県で同地の韓雲を助手としてマテオ・リッチがつくったローマ字による漢字の表音方式を改良，表音文字で標記した初めての中国語の韻書として，陝西省涇陽 (けいよう) の王徴の校訂を経て出版された。音韻分析のために「反切」という手段しかもたなかった中国語に，より簡明な方法を提供し，中国音韻研究史上，重要な価値をもつ。
